The A.K.E. Crew are some of my brothers-in-arms in representing a particular quality of Ohio hip-hop. Their upcoming mixtape, "Columbus Day", has something for every flavor of hip-hop head.

Ohio’s been the home of a number of game-changing hip-hop exports (Hi-Tek, Blueprint, Copywrite, RJD2, Mhz Crew) that have found an audience beyond the borders of the Buckeye State. With their upcoming “Columbus Day” mixtape, Columbus’ own The A.K.E. Crew (NickName, Jukebox, Ginnis) is vying for their spot in that illustrious Ohio pantheon, bringing a penchant for hard-hitting beats and rhymes that express an unabashed love for head-nodding Hip-Hop.

Up & Running

The Sandoz Rules is back up and running. Had to take a little bit of a hiatus from writing/recording and get some other things in order. Now, I'm back on my grind and start working on "The Calling Card" full-time in two days. Keep your eyes and ears open - snippets will arrive as soon as each track's done in the studio.

Thank You and You're Welcome

This being my first blog post and all, I figured that I should be a good host and say, "Welcome". I'm currently in Columbus, OH, working on my first real mixtape, The Calling Card and figured it was time to start getting the word out. It's easy to get so excited about the music that you forget to let people know about it, so I'm using this blog to not only share my music but the music of other artists I'm checking out as well as my thoughts on...well, everything.

Let's kick it off right with a link to a demo track from The Calling Card called "Unh". It's on the ill beat from Tony Yayo's "So Seductive" but will arrive on the mixtape with a different instrumental.
